Six Azerbaijani athletes to be on “Rio stage” today

Baku, August 9, AZERTAC Six Azerbaijani athletes will today vie for the Olympic medals in Rio. Olga Senyuk will compete in Archery Women's Individual 1/32 Eliminations against Chinese Hui Cao. Azerbaijani rowing pair Aleksandar Aleksandrov and Boris Yotov will compete in the Men's Double Sculls semifinal. Boxer Kamran Shahruvarli (75kg) will take on Chinese Minggang Zhao in the round of 16. Another Azerbaijani boxer Albert Salimov (60kg) will face Irish Oliver Joyce David in the preliminaries. Mahammadrasul Majidov will take on Moroccan Mohammed Arjaoui in the round of 16.
