Athletes form Kyrgyzstan earned 6 medals at the Veterans World Championships, the website of the United World Wrestling reported. The tournament ended on Oct. 13 in Tbilisi (Georgia). The Kyrgyz wrestlers won one gold, three silver and two bronze medals. In Greco-Roman wrestling, Berdikul Karayev (88 kg) won silver. Parliament Member Tazabek Ikramov (70 kg) and Kanat Shabdanbayev (70 kg) became the third in the competition. Head of Kyrgyzstan’s State Service for Punishments Execution Melis Turganbayev became the world champion in freestyle wrestling in the weight category up to 78 kg. Bilimbek Kaparbek uulu (78 kg) and Chynarbek Izabekov (100 kg), freestyle wrestlers, took the second stage of the podium.
