Sports: Saudi Arabia Out of Asia U-23 Championships

Doha, January 19 (QNA) - Saudi Arabia's Olympic football team were knocked out of Asia 2016 Cup on Tuesday after losing 1-2 to Japan. The match took place on Suhaim bin Hamad stadium in Qatar SC. The result means Saudi Arabia's football team will not take part in the Rio Olympics the coming August. Oshima and Ideguchi scored Japan's goals in the 31st and 53rd minute respectively. Abdullah Madu scored Saudi Arabia's consolation in the 57th minute. Japan tops the group with the full nine points. Saudi Arabia meanwhile is in third place with two points. (QNA)
