Students were overwhelmed by HM the King's welcoming gesture

Manama, Jan. 21 (BNA): Sixty students from Bahrain School and Italy-based Vicenza School, were overwhelmingly honoured to meet with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in the presence of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association, leader of Al Khalidia Endurance Stables at the Bahrain International Endurance Village, during the students' visit to the Bahrain International Endurance Village. The students were accompanied with the school director, teachers and parents, on the occasion of the Italian Vicenza School students visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The students expressed their delight for the welcoming reception of His Majesty the King and his conversation with, and insights to, them. Also, teachers and parents of students expressed their gratitude to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad and HH Shaikh Kahlid bin Hamad for their distinguished hospitality. They also thanked HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid for his encouragement and keenness to receive them. They praised Tawfeeq Al Salhi the director of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s Media & Information Office for organization of this most entertaining and wonderful visit marking the school’s golden jubilee. It is worth mentioning, that this is the second student visit. The first student visit took place in 2004 to Safriya Palace where the students viewed the Royal Stables including horses, programmes, and paraphernalia.
