Taekwondo athletes to compete for Olympic quotas

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Taekwondo athletes of our national team have started an intensive training at the “Olympics” complex at Khandgait to take part in Olympic qualification tournament for Asian region as well as the Asian Championship. The tournament will run this April 16-17 in Manila of the Philippines. The Mongolian team has M.Tumenbayar (men’s 58kg) and P.Temuujin (men’s 68kg). At the Asian Championship--this April 18-20--Mongolia will be represented by B.Gantsooj (men’s 54kg), M.Tumenbayar (58kg), A.Natsagdorj (63kg) and P.Temuujin (68kg). They are coached by N.Erdenebaatar and a coach from South Korea Hur Inyong.
