Teymur Rajabov to compete in ACP Golden Classic

Baku, April 14 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani grandmaster Teymur Rajabov will compete in the ACP Golden Classic to be held in Bergamo, Italy. The second edition of the "unusual" tournament organized by the ACP will be held from July 12-20. Players will compete under the same time control which was used in the World Championship matches in the Golden Era of chess: 2,5 hours/40 moves + adjournment. First edition of ACP Golden Classic was held two years ago. It was won by Vassily Ivanchuk of Ukraine. Along with Rajabov, the tournament will see participation of Ian Nepomniachtchi, Zoltan Almasi, Wesley So, Daniele Vokaturo, Sabino Brunello and Emil Sutovsky. The tournament will be held in a round-robin format.
