Thai football fans arrive at stadium ahead of World Cup qualifier

BANGKOK, March 23 (TNA) - The Rajamangala National Stadium has already started to be packed with Thai football fans ahead of tonight's World Cup 2018 qualification round match of the Asia Zone, in which Thailand is having home game against Saudi Arabia at 7 pm. Security has been beefed up at the stadium, where 600 police officers, along with 800 security guards, and a handful of security guards from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) were mobilised to provide safety during tonight's game. Head coach of the Thai team, Coach Zico, Kiatisak Senamuang yesterday affirmed that every player in the team is fit and ready for the match. He also praised tonight's opponent, Saudi Arabi as a strong team, though he has planned to lead the Thai team to winning three points tonight but stressed that the team will not underestimate its opponent. Meanwhile, Saudi's Dutch coach Bert van Marwijk said he had thoroughly studying the techniques and strategies of the Thai team, particularly on the match with Australia, which came out as a draw. He has also ordered his team not to underestimate Thailand as this match is vital for Saudi Arabia's qualification into the final round of the World Cup 2018. (TNA)
