Thai group signs sponsorship deal with Vietnam football teams

Hanoi, November 21 (VNA) - Thailand’s Grand Sport Group has signed a five-year agreement to sponsor Vietnam’s national male and female football teams. Under the agreement, the company will provide equipment for training and competitions from 2015 to 2019 General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Le Hoai Anh hailed the deal, stressing its significance for the VFF’s plans for the squads’ training and competitions. The national men’s team will wear their new shirts at the upcoming 2014 ASEAN Football Federation-Suzuki Cup, which will run from November 22 to December 20. The national volleyball and sepak takraw teams will also be sponsored by Grand Sport. Established in 1961, Thai sports equipment company Grand Sport is one of the leading brand name in Thailand.-VNA
