Thailand targets to win 120 golds at SEA Games in Singapore

BANGKOK, May 16 (TNA) - Thailand expressed its readiness to compete in the upcoming SEA Games Singapore 2015 at the beginning of June, targeting to win about 120 gold medals. Minister of Tourism and Sports Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul told the press about Thailand's readiness to compete in the upcoming 28th SEA Games, on June 5-16 in Singapore. She said all of the national athletes have been training hard and are almost 100 percent ready. Meanwhile, the Cabinet has approved a budget of more than 300 million baht for the athletes, which should help lift the spirits of all athletes.Thailand will contest against Indonesia and Vietnam for the championship title for the country, winning the most gold medals. The minister further informed that she would attend the opening ceremony of the SEA Games in Singapore to show her full support for Thai athletes.(TNA)
