Three Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters into semi-final of 1st WTF World Cadet Championships

Baku, July 24 (AzerTAc). Three Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters Mahammad Alizade at 33kg, Nargiz Mirzayeva at 37kg and Minaya Akbarova at 29kg have progressed to the semi-final of the 1st WTF World Cadet Championships at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku. Alizade defeated Russian Vladimir Lovtsov 9-3, Mirzayeva beat Russian Elizaveta Andrianenko 4-2 and Alakbarova outclassed British Shayna Sarsoza 5-2. The four-day championship brings together nearly 600 fighters from 65 countries. Azerbaijan`s squad includes 18 fighters.
