Timor Leste Excluded From ASEAN Para Games In Singapore

SINGAPORE, Nov 25 (Bernama) -- Timor Leste will not take part in the upcoming 8th Asean Para Games that will be held in December here due to its current International Paralympic Committee (IPC) suspension status. In a media alert, the Singapore ASEAN Para Games Organising Committee (SAPGOC) confirmed that 10 countries namely Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam will be participating in the Games from Dec 3 to 9. SAPGOC said the decision to exclude the National Paralympic Council (NPC) of Timor Leste from the Games was made by the ASEAN Para Sports Federation (APSF). -- BERNAMA
