T.SANCHIR BECOMES TOP BASKETBALL PLAYER

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A member of the national basketball team of Mongolia T.Sanchir has been named the top basketball player of Mongolia for this year. On occasion of the New Year celebration, the National Basketball Association of Mongolia announced it on Tuesday. The national basketball team took the eighth place in the Incheon 2014 Asian Games. T.Sanchir was selected as one of the best eight Asian players. He is currently playing for the “Madimos shonkhoruud” team at the Mongolian basketball league in the 2014-2015 seasons. His team now has three wins and three loses out of six games. The national men and women basketball teams and the ice hockey team have been nominated for the "Borte Chono" trophy. Top athletes and teams will be selected on Thursday.
