Tunisian Min. Calls For Expansion Of Ties With Iran

Tunisia, Aug 26, IRNA – Tunisian Minister of Family and Women's Affairs Sihem Badi called Sunday for fostering cultural and sports cooperation with Iran. Talking to IRNA, Ms Badi underlined the need for playing more active role in promotion of bilateral relations by women of the two Muslim countries. She said Tunisia is to hold an international conference on women and the role they play in the political arenas, adding Tripoli is keen to utilize Tehran's experiences in that field. She then described the recent international conference on Women and Islamic Awakening in Tehran as a significant move to introduce women's foothold in the world./end
