U-19 Soccer Team - Persijap 1-1

Jepara, C Java, Feb 18 (Antara) - The national soccer team of under-19 years old (Timnas U-19) in its domestic tryout match against the host Persijap here on Monday night shared score 1-1 in Gelora Bumi Kartini, Jepara stadium. Since the kick off of the first half, Persijap, the host launched attack to grab the points before tens of thousands of the Persijab`s supporters. In the 25th minute, the U-21 Persijap successfully netted goal through Andie Dian Asrursi. Two minutes later, the Timnas U-19`s Septian David Maulana equalized the score 1-1 in the friendly match which was led by referee Handri Kristanto. The Timnas U-19 has been scheduled to undergo four kinds of tryout matches, the first of which is the so-called Nusantara Tour (archipelagic tour), and one of the domestic tryout matches will take place in Indonesia`s eastern-most province of Papua. "The four tryouts are the domestic (Tour Nusantara), the Middle Eastern, the European and a Mini Tournament in Jakarta," chief of the U-19 team, Indra Sjafri stated recently, adding that the national soccer team will take part in the International Championship AFC U-19 in Myanmar in October 2014.
