The lights went out twice during the match at Dolon Omurzakov stadium, but it only raised the spirits of the spectators: fans, lit up their cell phones and started singing the national anthem, Kyrgyz songs, chants, cheerleading the football players. The coach of the Kyrgyz team Alexander Krestinin, in an interview with journalists, told that both teams showed good football, with numerous attacks on both sides, the Football Federation of Kyrgyzstan reported. “When two good rivals are playing, frequently, such spectacular matches occur as a result. Krestinin added that each game is important for the team. “We select rivals of a high level. It is obvious that we can grow only through such games. And positive results boost the team’s confidence. We need to have games with rivals of a high level, because very strong and qualified rivals are awaiting us at the Asia Cup“, he said.
