Vinko Begovic named Mes of Kerman coach

TEHRAN,June 24(MNA) - Vinko Begovic was appointed as Iran’s First Division Mes of Kerman football team on Monday. Mes was relegated from Iran Professional (IPL) last season and now is looking forward to returning to the top level league. The 65-year-old Croat has joined Mes of Kerman on a one-year contract. Vinko Begovic has already coached the Iranian football clubs namely, Foolad, Persepolis, Pegah, Aluminium Hormozgan, and Pas. He was also appointed as head coach of Iran’s U-23 football team in 2006 but parted company with the country’s football federation less than one year.
