Workshop on Securing Major Sporting Events Concludes

Doha, September 19 (QNA) - The security committee of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy concluded Thursday a workshop on police operations during major sporting events, which was organized in cooperation with Spanish police. A total of 11 officers took part in the workshop that took place in La Cigale Hotel. Director of Training Unit at the security committee Major Fahd Al Subaei said that the workshop was offered by a group of Spanish experts in the field of safety and security. He noted that they have a wealth of experience in securing major events. He said that the workshop helped both the Qatari and Spanish sides exchange valuable expertise in the field. (QNA)
