World Karate body thanks Turkey for successful hosting

ANKARA World Karate Federation (WKF) thanked Turkey for hosting the 2021 Karate 1-Premier League Istanbul organization successfully in Istanbul. Turkey successfully hosted the first organization after the novel coronavirus outbreak with 584 athletes from 72 countries at WOW Convention Center, said the federation in a statement on Monday. WKF President Antonio Espinos thanked Turkish Karate Federation President Esat Delihasan for the successful organization. "Turkey was chosen to host this season's first tournament by WKF among several candidates. We did not disappoint their trust and the organization was impeccable. WKF President Antonio Espinos, who watched the organization from the beginning to the end, thanked us yesterday after the finals," President Delihasan said. Turkey completed the tournament in first place with 10 medals, including three gold, four silver and three bronze. Delihasan stated that the performance of the athletes made them happy before the European Championships and Tokyo Olympics. The 2021 Karate 1-Premier League Istanbul took place in Istanbul from March 12 to 14.
