WRESTLERS TO COMPETE IN JUNIOR WORLD WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Freestyle Wrestling Federation of Mongolia has selected those to compete in the Junior World Wrestling Championship that will take place this August 5-10 in Zagreb, Croatia. The events will run in the men’s 50, 55, 60, 66, 74, 84, 96, 120, women’s 44, 48, 51, 55, 59, 63, 67 and 72 kg weight categories for freestyle. Greco-Roman tournament will run in the men’s weight divisions. Mongolia’s team has Ts.Mandalsuren (men’s 50 kg for freestyle), P.Erdenebileg (55 kg), G.Begzjav (60 kg), B.Tsogtgerel (66 kg), B.Batsukh (74 kg), E.Monkhbaatar (120 kg), L.Battogtokh (women’s 44 kg), Ts.Namuuntsetseg (48 kg), B.Monkhtuya (51 kg), A.Battsetseg (55 kg), S.Tserenchimed (59 kg), B.Nyamgerel (63 kg), O.Oyungerel (67 kg) and P.Nomin-Erdene (72 kg). P.Erdenebileg and N.Amarsaikhan will compete in the Greco-Roman contests, in the 55 kg and 66 kg categories, respectively. Mongolian wrestlers have grabbed six gold, eight silver and 23 bronze medals from Junior World Wrestling Championship since their first participation.
