Yemen Beat Sri Lanka 3-0 in Asian Youth Cup 2020 Qualifiers

Doha, November 09 (QNA) - Yemeni youth football team continued their victories in the Asian Youth Cup 2020 qualifiers after beating Sri Lanka 3-0 in the match held between them at the Aspire Academy Stadium in Doha on Friday. The goals of the Yemeni team were scored by Emad Hammoud, Saqr Al Harbi and Mohammed Tariq in the 12th, 18th and 35th minutes. With this victory, the Yemeni team raised their score to 6 points, topping the group temporarily, pending the result of the match between the Qatar and Turkmenistan . The third and final round is to be played on Sunday with Sri Lanka against Turkmenistan and Qatar against Yemen simultaneously. The Qatari team qualified well to the previous finals and succeeded in reaching the golden square and qualify for the finals of the World Cup held in Poland 2019. (QNA)
