Young Azerbaijani sambo wrestlers win seven European medals

Baku, April 14 (AzerTAc). Young Azerbaijani sambo wrestlers have snatched a clutch of 7 medals, including a gold at the European Championship in Spain. Gold medal came from Farid Gardashkhanov weighing in at 56kg. Natig Sariyev scooped silver in the 65kg class, while Elton Guliyev and Etibar Zeynalov claimed bronze medals in the 60kg and over 87kg categories respectively. Fuad Mammadov weighing in at 57kg won silver, while Elvin Aghayev at 62kg and Ulvi Khankishiyev at 48kg brought home bronze medals.
