Youth Minister receives Al-Tadamun Club board

Manama, Aug.4 (BNA): Al-Tadamun Club Chairman Baqer Al-Haddar has retracted his resignation. The move was announced as Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Hesham bin Mohammed Al-Jowder received Al-Haddar and board members to discuss the reasons of his resignation, as well as the needs of the club. The meeting focused on investment opportunities to support the club treasury, in addition to the planned opening of the new administrative headquarters. The minister pledged to support the board in order to overcome the challenges facing them so that the club could continue its crucial role in serving Bahraini youth. He paid tribute to the wise leadership for their support, pointing out that Al-Tadamun Club would continue its normal work and step up efforts to overcome the challenges, in cooperation with the General Organisation for Youth and Sport (GOYS). Al-Jowder commended the vital role of national clubs in promoting sport and youth work, stressing GOYS keenness on implementing the directives of HM the King's Representative for Charity Worlds and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. The meeting was attended by Clubs Affairs Acting Director Mohammed Buali.
