Stock exchanges of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan sign MoU

Bishkek, July 27, 2023. / Kabar/. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Kyrgyz Stock Exchange CJSC and Baku Stock Exchange CJSC took place in Kyrgyzstan’s Cholpon-Ata town.

On behalf of the KSE, the document was signed by President Medet Nazaraliev, and on behalf of the BSE, by Chairman of the Board Eldar Abdullayev.

This memorandum will contribute to the development of economic relations and is aimed at deepening relations between the exchanges of the two countries. The main areas of cooperation are the exchange of experience in organizing exchange trading, technical infrastructure and post-trading environment.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic made a feasible contribution to the establishment of partnership relations between the Exchanges of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.

It is worth noting that in November 2022, President Sadyr Zhaparov signed the Decree “On measures for the further development of the stock market and exchange activities”, which created a solid foundation for integrating the stock market of our country with international financial markets.
