Afghanistan Calls For Cultural, Scientific Cooperation With Imam Reza University

Mashhad, July 2, IRNA - Vice-Chancellor of Imam Reza International University Morteza Rajavi said on Tuesday that Afghan ministry of sciences has called for expansion of scientific and cultural cooperation with the university. Speaking to IRNA, he said an Afghan delegation visited Imam Reza University last week and signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on expansion of cultural and scientific cooperation between the two sides. The Afghan delegation called for dispatch of university lecturers to Afghanistan to teach accounting and management, he said. They also asked the university to grant scholarship to Afghan college students at Ph.D. level, he said. Some 370 Afghan university students are now studying at Imam Reza International University at different levels, he said. Establishment of cultural and scientific cooperation with universities in Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkmenistan and Turkey is on the agenda of Imam Reza International University, Rajavi said.
