Detecting Enemy Drones Facilities Built Domestically: Commander

Sari, Mazandaran Prov, Sept 27, IRNA - Commander of Khatam ul-Anbiya Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmaeili said on Saturday that the air radars and the facilities for detecting enemy's drones have been built by domestic experts. Speaking in a local gathering, Esmaeili highlighted the vigilance and alertness of the Iranian air defense forces in monitoring and controlling the flights and safeguarding the county's borderlines. Over the past years, Iran has attained self-sufficiency in producing important military equipment and systems. The Islamic Republic has repeatedly assured its neighbors that its military might poses no threat to other countries, insisting that its defense doctrine is based on deterrence./end
