EDES SYSTEM INTRODUCED TO PUBLIC SERVICES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Information Technology Agency of Ulaanbaatar city has begun introducing the EDES system to the services of the capital city, in conjunction with an ordinance of Ulaanbaatar Mayor. The system enables public officials to verify registration information of citizens, legal and property registration information with the source and document, and citizens will be able to receive public services without making their documents notarized. When citizens and business entities got services from administrations of Ulaanbaatar city, its districts and agencies, they used to require notarized copies of original documents, such as their ID cards, state registration certificates, certificates of property registration and other official documents. Therefore, Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city and Governor of the capital S.Batbold issued an ordinance to eliminate this problem. In accordance with the ordinance, a citizen or legal entity to be served by the state and administrative organizations of the capital city and its districts, should not be asked notarized copies of documents, when they bring original documents.
