Enkhtuvshin is elected Academy head again

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Academician B.Enkhtuvshin has been appointed the president of the Academy of Sciences of Mongolia in accordance with the Premier's order issued September 30. Mr Enkhtuvshin has been elected as such for the second 4-year term by 96 percent of votes at a regular session of the Academy. He was born in Tariat soum of Arkhangai province in 1952. He graduated from the Mongolian National University in 1974 and completed Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics, and Informatics (MESI) as a statistician. He defended doctor degree with "Statistics and forecast of higher education" work, earned the Doctor of Science by "Issues on Education Development Research" work, and received the Academician title in 1998. Mr Enkhtuvshin started his career from the Mongolian National University as a teacher, created many works. He worked as a first deputy minister, head of department at Ministry of Education, vice minister, consultant at Embassy to Russian Federation, head of International Institute for nomadic civilization research, vice president of the Academy, and president since 2009.
