Iran To Test-fire Guided Rocket In June

Tehran, May 12, IRNA – Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Force Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan said on Sunday that a guided rocket with a range of 4,000 meters to be launched from helicopters is to be test-fired during a war game which would be held in the central province of Isfahan in June. The missile will be test-fired during the Beit-ul Moqaddas maneuver in Isfahan, said the commander in his address to a local gathering here. He added that Iran has also improved the capability of a machine gun mounted on military helicopters. Experts with Iran’s defense industries have also improved the night vision systems used in airborne’s night operations./end
