Iranian among ESWC FIFA World Champion finalists

TEHRAN, Nov. 01 (MNA) – Iran’s Kiarash Shokoohi is among the top eight gamers in the Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) FIFA World Champion which is underway in France. Kiarash Shokoohi, one of the three Iranian representatives, defeated his German gamer and found his way to the top eight finalists. Abbas Arzi, who is the representative of holding ESWC computer games leagues in Iran and is heading the Iranian team in France, said: “Mehrdad Company, the other Iranian representative, gained the 5th place in his own group. Navid Borhani, who was crowned ESWC FIFA World Champion 2014, won in his group but failed to make it to the finals as he lost to his Romanian side.” Cube company is ESWC representative of Iran. Supported by Iran National Foundation of Computer Games, the Iranian gamers are attending the event. ESWC is an international professional gaming championship. Every year, winners of national qualifier events around the world earn the right to represent their country in the ESWC Finals.
