Navy Commander Unveils Asr Radar

Tehran, Nov 27, IRNA – Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari unveiled a state-of-the-art radar system dubbed Asr here on Wednesday. By unveiling this radar system, Iran will achieve the updated global technology, said Sayyari on the sidelines of the unveiling ceremony. Iranian Navy is proud of having access to this kind of radar system, a three dimensional one capable of meeting the naval forces’ operational needs, said the commander. Sayyari stressed that the product has been manufactured by domestic naval experts and scholars. The Navy commander further said several naval projects are to be inaugurated in the presence of the Army commander next Saturday./end
