Palestinian Official Lauds Iran Scientific Achievements

Beirut, Feb 7, IRNA – Representative of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Lebanon Abu Imad Ramez said the scientific and military achievements of Iran has brought it to the center of world attention and scared its enemies especially the US and the Zionist regime. Talking to IRNA on the occasion of the 34th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, he said the victory of the revolution in Iran certainly led to fundamental and major changes in international and regional processes turning Iran to the main axis of anti-imperialism confrontations in the world. Turning to the pivotal role of Iran in regional developments, Ramez pointed to Iran’s remarkable achievements in such areas as peaceful use of nuclear technology, aerospace technology as well as military and missiles and said the Iranian nation has well succeeded in turning the West’s sanctions into opportunities for progress. The Palestinian official further referred to Tehranˈs supports for the Palestinians and said Iran is virtually the biggest supporter of the Palestinian issue in the world./end
