Portugal Ready To Produce New Energy In Hormozgan Province

Bandar Abbas, July 8, IRNA – Representatives of three Portugese companies said they are ready to produce new energy in Hormozgan province after consultations and initiative talks. Deputy governor general of the province in Planning Affairs Abdulreza Nateq said on Saturday afternoon that the Portuguese experts have discussed the issue with director general of coordination in economic affairs and deputy head of Hormozgan regional electricity company. He continued that Hormozgan, with around 3,100 hours sunny days annually and long littoral strip and other geographical characteristics, has a suitable situation for using new technology to produce new and renewable energies. Governor general of Hormozgan province recently visited Portugal heading an economic delegation./end
