President: Domestic-made ˈQaherˈ Jet Fighter Shows High Capabilities Of Iran Experts

Tehran, Feb 3, IRNA - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday said production of ˈQaher-313ˈ jet fighter is a proof of the high capabilities of Iranian experts. Addressing a ceremony to unveil the super-modern jet fighter which coincided with the national day of space technology, he also noted that the achievement indicates the fact that the Islamic Republic of Iran has already made many remarkable progresses. He said Iranian experts now have the power to design and produce models which best match the country’s needs. The president said that the rapid pace of proress in the fields of science and technology in the country now is a matter of the nation’s will and has nothing to do with surrounding conditions. He said that once the nation did not even imagine making such big achievements as production of fighter jets but now all can see that it has already attained the goal. Referring to the obstacles created for the Iranian nation, he further stressed that Iranians will certainly leave behind the harsh conditions. He said the fact that evil forces are mobilizing all their efforts to confront the Islamic Iran indicates that many remarkable victories are in store for the Iranian nation in the future. Ahmadinejad stressed that the message of Iran’s defense and military technology is peace and fraternity, adding that Iran’s defense achievements posed no threats to others but were tools to defend human dignity and nation’s rights and used only for deterring purposes./end
