Researcher: Iran Ranks 12 In World In Nanotechnology

Hamadan, May 24, IRNA – Head of Nanoscience Research Center said that according to the published documents by the nanotechnology headquarters, Iran ranks 12 in the world. Hashem Rafieitabar, who was speaking in Malayer University in the National Seminar of Nanotechnology in Sciences and Engineering on Friday, said that currently Iran ranks first in the Persian Gulf region and Islamic countries, adding that Iran invested in this field pretty soon. He added that all governments in the past 10 years have supported nanotechnology very well. The researcher stressed that currently nanoscience in Iran is in a positive situation and is growing and considering good measure in this concern, Iran is among the highest states in this field in the world. He continued that nanotechnology should affect peopleˈs lives and it should turn from a science to a technology to be used in daily lives of people./end
