Samsung Unveils Samsung Galaxy Note5, Galaxy S6 Edge+

SUBANG JAYA (Selangor, Malaysia), Sept 3 (Bernama) -- Following their global appearance recently, Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd Thursday unveiled its Samsung Galaxy Note5 phablet and Galaxy S6 edge+ smartphone to the Malaysian market. Its Mobile, Information Technology and Digital Imaging Vice-President, Lee Jui Siang said both devices represented Samsung's continuous commitment to the big screen smartphone market, which Samsung pioneered in 2011 with the Galaxy Note. Both Samsung's flagship models feature advanced screen technology, camera for high quality photos and videos, fast wireless and wired charging and a powerful processor. "With increased four gigabyte (GB) random access memory (RAM), both smartphones offer powerful capacity and processing power to the market," Lee told reporters at the launch of the products, here Thursday. He said new services and solutions, such as the most advanced long-term evolution technology (Cat.9) and embedded wireless charging, enabled Samsung to reinvent the way people use their mobile phones. The Galaxy Note5 is offered at the recommended retail price of US$637 (RM2,699) (inclusive of six per cent goods and services tax) in two colour options, gold platinum and white pearl. (US$1 = RM4.23) The Galaxy S6 edge+ is offered at the recommended retail price of RM3,099 (inclusive of six per cent goods and services tax) in two colour options, gold platinum and black sapphire.
