Tehran, Ankara Keen To Expand Scientific Ties

Ankara, Aug 9, IRNA – Iranian and Turkish officials in a meeting in Ankara underlined the need for the further expansion of scientific and technological cooperation. During the meeting in the Turkish capital on Friday, Iranian Industry, Mine and Trade Miniser Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh and Turkish Minister of Sciences, Industry and Technology Fekri Ishik explored avenues for bolstering and reinvigorating relations in scientific, industrial and technological areas. Nematzadeh, heading a high-ranking trade delegation, is in Turkey at the invitation of Turkish Economy Minister Nehat Zibakchi. Iranian Ambassador to Ankara Alireza Bigdeli, Deputy Trade Minister Mojtaba Khosrotaj and Head of Iraˈs Trade Promotion Organization Valiollah Afkhamirad were also present in the meeting.
