Workshop On Importance Of “Antennas” In Modern Communication World Held In India

New Delhi, Dec 29, IRNA -- The latest advancements in the field of antennas and their vital role in communication were highlighted by experts at a DRDO sponsored two-day workshop conducted an engineering college in Chennai, capital city of India’s state of Tamil Nadu. Lt. Col. John Prince, Quality Assurance Officer, Ministry of Defence, who inaugurated the workshop “Recent Trends on Antennas for Multi-Field Applications” at the Sri Sairam Engineering College here on Thursday, emphasized the importance of antennas in modern communication world. “Without antenna, the future world cannot be dreamt of,” he said in his talk on Radar and its Applications, pti reported today quoting a release from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), the organisers of the workshop which concluded yesterday, said. Scientist Dr P H Rao of Chennai Centre of Society for Applied Microwave Electronic Engineering and Research (SAMEER), an institution set-up by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, gave a speech on “Advanced Technologies for future of RF Designs” underlining the importance of Electromagnetic in research works.
