Air France-KLM Introduces World Business Class

KUALA LUMPUR, March 26 (Bernama) -- Air France-KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Friday unveiled its World Business Class (WBC) cabin for the Kuala Lumpur-Amsterdam sector to cater to the growing demand especially, among business travellers, for more comfort travel for long haul destinations. Country Manager for Malaysia and Brunei Aude-Lise Combier said with full-flat seats, among others, the new class would also provide added privacy for passengers. "Additionally, the positioning of the each WBC seats and the use of special partitions between television screens are designed to ensure greater privacy for passengers. "We offer one of the most extensive networks, providing services to Europe, the United States, South America and Africa. "We fly to almost anywhere from Amsterdam," she told reporters here Friday after introducing the new cabin class which offers 34 WBC seats. She said the airline would use its newly-refurbished B777-200ER and B777-300ER to ply the Kuala Lumpur-Amsterdam route and vice-versa. It will also offer special all-in return fares to all destinations in Europe from as low as US$2,919 (RM11,777) for WBC passengers. Air France-KLM Royal Dutch is a member of the SkyTeam global airline alliance. -- BERNAMA
