AirAsia X Now Connects Kuala Lumpur Direct To New Delhi

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 4 (Bernama) -- AirAsia X Bhd now connects Kuala Lumpur direct to New Delhi, India, with four times weekly flight services. In a statement, AirAsia X said it was offering a promotional all-in-fare from Kuala Lumpur to New Delhi from as low as US$111 (RM459) one way for standard seats or from US$242 (RM999) one way for the Premium Flatbed seats, both inclusive of taxes. These promotional fares are available for online booking from Thursday until Feb 14, for the travel period from Feb 4 until June 30. AirAsia X Chief Executive Officer Benyamin Ismail said the airline now has a stronger foundation to be in India, in complementing the existing route network of its affiliates AirAsia Bhd, Thai AirAsia and AirAsia India. "In 2015, our affiliates AirAsia and Thai AirAsia carried over one million guests in and out of India. "With AirAsia X’s entry into this market, we can provide even more connectivity for our Indian guests to the rest of Asia and Australia," he added. -- BERNAMA
