Direct Flights From KT To Two Chinese Cities In The Pipeline

KUALA NERUS (Terengganu, Malaysia), Nov 25 (Bernama) -- Indonesian airline Sriwijaya Air in collaboration with local airline YOU Wings Airlines plans to have direct flights from the Sultan Mahmud (LTSM) here to two cities in China next year. Terengganu Tourism and Culture Committee chairman Mohd Jidin Shafee said the development had the blessings of the state government as it would help draw more tourists from China to the state. "We are still in the process of determining the two cities in China that are the most suitable for this venture," he told reporters after welcoming Sriwijaya Air's maiden flight operated by the two airlines from Medan to LTSM here Monday. The aircraft involved, a Boeing 737-500W, which can seat 120 passengers, brought a delegation of 45 corporate figures from Medan led by North Sumatra Province Economic Development deputy director R.
