Gaza Cartoons Displayed At Kelantan Art Gallery Until Aug 31

KOTA BAHARU (Kelantan, Malaysia), Aug 15 (Bernama) -- The public will get a chance to view cartoons depicting the sufferings of Palestinians from Israeli atrocities at the State Art Gallery, here, from today until Aug 31. Kelantan Culture, Tourism and Heritage Committee chairman Md Anizam Abdul Rahman said 75 cartoon drawings done by two popular local artists, Rosidi Semail and Kerengge (Mohamad Hanafiah Ibrahim), on Gaza would be displayed at the exhibition. "All the drawings, which were done spontaneously, tell of the sufferings endured by Palestinians in Gaza. "Members of the public can visit the exhibition for free," he told reporters after the launch of the Gaza Cartoon Exhibition, here, Friday. The exhibition was declared open by former Kelantan Menteri Besar (chief minister) Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, with Tourism and Culture Minister Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz also present. The art gallery opens from 8am to 5pm daily. -- BERNAMA
