Major boom registered for domestic tourism in Nowruz holidays

Birjand, Razavi Khorassan Prov., April 6, IRNA – A total of 2,555,000 tourists visited the tourist and historical resorts in northeastern South Khorassan Province during Nowroz vacations .(March 20 to April 4). Head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Department in South Khorassan Province Ali Shariatimanesh told IRNA that South Khorassan Province has many tourist sight-seeings, such as deserts and natural tourist resorts, many spring pools the people swim for skin remedy and health advantages of the hot mineral waters coming out from the earth. He said that in the period, 73,620 people visited Ferdows hot spring pools.
