Melaka State Museum Corporation general manager Khamis Abas said the photos belonging to Robert Lim from Canvas Art Sdn Bhd would be exhibited at the lobby of Bastion House, Jalan Kota here and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day. There is no entrance fee. He said the exhibition would also include a collection of photographs of late second Prime Minister Abdul Razak Hussein's visit to the Great Wall of China in 1971. "The photo exhibition has added value from the historical, cultural and heritage points of view and will benefit society," he told Bernama when met after the official opening ceremony of the exhibition by Melaka Chief Minister Idris Haron here Friday. Meanwhile, in his speech, Idris said the exhibition would hopefully be another tourist attraction in the state besides showing its appreciation for the ties with China since the days of the Melaka Sultanate.
