Russia, Brunei sign agreement on visa-free travel

DA NANG, November 8. /TASS/. Russia and Brunei have signed an agreement on mutually lifting visa requirements for tourists holding regular passports. The ceremony was held on the sidelines of a ministerial meeting of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Vietnam’s Da Nang. The document was signed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Brunei’s Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Lim Jock Seng. "The signing of the agreement is a positive event, which will allow us to enhance business and humanitarian contacts between our countries," Lavrov said. Lavrov greeted Brunei’s foreign minister, noting that the two countries have had intense contacts both at the ministerial and parliamentary levels.
