TABRIZ, Iran, Aug. 13 (MNA) - Local officials said on Sunday that bout 300 people have died and more than 2000 have been injured in two successive earthquakes that hit the northwestern province of East Azerbaijan on Saturday afternoon. The quakes measured 6.2 and 6 on the Richter scale hit at 4:53 p.m. and 5:04 p.m. local time respectively at a depth of 10 kilometers.
