Lee Soon-kyu (L), 85, one of the many South Koreans who have family members or relatives in North Korea, relishes being reunited with her 83-year-old husband, Oh In-se, at a resort on Mount Kumgang on the North's east coast. The reunion of families separated by the 1950-53 Korean War brought together 389 South Koreans from 96 families with their North Korean relatives, of which there were 141 at the event. It marks the first inter-Korean family reunion event since February 2014, a fruit of the Aug. 25 deal between the two Koreas on ending a military standoff. (Yonhap) (END)
