Pietro Grasso completes official visit here

President of the Senate of the Republic of Italy Mr Pietro Grasso was seen off the Chingis Khaan International Airport, concluding his official visit to Mongolia, on April 23.

In frames of his visit, the Italian Senate President met with the leader of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj, held official talks with the Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) Z.Enkhbold, and received the Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren.

Mr Grasso, as the host of the previous meeting of Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership, was one of the keynote speakers at the Ninth ASEP Meeting, held in Ulaanbaatar. Upon arriving, he had given Mongolia the "baton" of organizing the ASEP Meeting as well as the sub-conferences under the ASEM Summit.
