Choi Kyou-hyun, senior presidential secretary for foreign affairs, announces on Oct. 28, 2015 that a South Korea-Japan summit has been set for Nov. 2 in Seoul. It will be President Park Geun-hye's first summit with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe since taking office in February 2013, as the bilateral relations were marred by wide differences in addressing Japan's sexual enslavement of Korean women during World War II. Park will also host a trilateral summit with Abe and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Nov. 1. (Yonhap) (END)
