Jacques Salvador interprets at a session of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Plenipotentiary Conference in Busan on Nov. 3, 2014, where statements and documents are delivered in six official U.N. languages. Based in Geneva, the 46-year-old French-born blind interpreter served in a multitude of international organizations, including the ITU, the U.N. and the World Health Organization.
