President Ts.Elbegdorj starts official visit to France
Upon the invitation of the President of the French Republic Francois Hollande, President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj is paying an Official Visit to France. This visit is coinciding with the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and France and is highlighted as the first visit by a Head of State of a foreign country to France since the series of terror attacks in Paris.

On November 18, 2015, President Elbegdorj welcomed by French delegates led by Martine Pinville, Minister of State for Commerce, Small-Scale Industry, Consumer Affairs and the Social and Solidarity Economy at the square of the Army Museum in Paris. Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the French Republic M.Batsaikhan, Member of Parliament, Minister of Industry D.Erdenebat, National Security and Foreign Policy Advisor to the President A.Battur, and other representatives from Mongolia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Mongolia Elizabeth Barsak, and other representatives of France were present at the welcoming ceremony. After paying tribute to the state flag of France, the state hymns of the both countries were performed.
